All purchases are made through the App Store and charged to your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country and tax.

Some models in Dunesies Personal are sold as one-time purchases. Once bought, they stay yours on that Apple Account and can be restored with Restore Purchases.

Dunesies Book is free for your first 4 imported books. Importing more books needs Dunesies Book Pro, a subscription that costs $4.99 a month in the United States. It renews automatically every month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal.

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device Settings, under your Apple Account, Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals, and you keep Dunesies Book Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Books you have already imported stay in your library.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The number of books imported on the free plan is kept on your device, so reinstalling the app does not reset it.

You are responsible for having the right to import and read the files you add. Your files stay on your device, and we never receive them.

Dunesies Personal writes text with AI models that run on your device. Responses can be inaccurate or incomplete, so do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

The AI models in Dunesies Personal are made by other companies and come with their own licenses and acceptable use policies, including Meta's Llama 3.2 Acceptable Use Policy and Google's Gemma Prohibited Use Policy. By using a model, you agree to follow its policy. The licenses are listed in the app under Acknowledgements.

Dunesies Book reads scanned English pages with Indra, a text recognition model made by Datalab and licensed under a modified OpenRAIL-M license. By using Dunesies Book, you agree not to use the model or its output in any of the following ways. You may not use it in any way that breaks any national, federal, state, local or international law or regulation. You may not use it to infringe or misappropriate, directly or indirectly, anyone else's intellectual property rights. You may not use it for any purpose if you, your employer or the organization you are affiliated with earned more than twenty million US dollars in gross revenue in the prior year, or has raised more than twenty million US dollars in total equity or debt funding, unless your use is limited to personal use or research. You may not use it for any purpose if you, your employer or the organization you are affiliated with offers a product or service that competes with Datalab. The apps are provided as they are and as available. As far as the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the apps will be free of errors or always available.

As far as the law allows, Dunesies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the apps. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using the apps at any time by deleting them. We may end your license if you break these terms.
